Learn To Play Hockey Program
The Youth Learn to Play Hockey Program is an introductory program in which kids between the ages of 4 and 14 have an opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of hockey. This program guides the participants through the fundamentals of playing hockey such as skating, stickhandling passing and shooting. It will progressively work on more intermediate skills and drills utilizing and reinforcing these basic skills along with teaching positional play through weekly scrimmages and small area games.
The Wintersport Learn to play program is the first step toward entering the Wintersport Royals, our Youth Hockey Origination. Students should have completed our beginning group skating lessons program before registering for the Learn to Play Hockey Program.
